Air Serbia was presented with the award for Best Airline in Eastern Europe

Last night in Los Angeles, the CEO of Serbia's national airline, Jiri Marek, received on behalf of Air Serbia the award for the Best Airline in Eastern Europe, presented by the American magazine Global Traveler. For 21 years, this renowned magazine has been awarding the best airlines, hotels, and travel services worldwide based on a survey in which more than 20,000 readers participate.

"Air Serbia is a proud ambassador of its country around the world. Our efforts to represent Serbia in the best possible way are increasingly being recognized, as demonstrated by the awards we have been receiving. This year, we were inducted into the ATW Hall of Fame, alongside the world’s most prestigious airlines, and now, just before the end of what has been a very successful year for us, the readers of Global Traveler magazine have recognized us as the best airline in Eastern Europe. All our achievements have been made thanks to our team of dedicated professionals, who work daily to improve the quality of service and the experience of our passengers. In the year ahead, we will continue setting high goals and improving all aspects of our operations," said Jiri Marek, CEO of Air Serbia.

The survey conducted by Global Traveler magazine is considered a reliable benchmark for excellence in the transportation industry, and business travellers who frequently fly in business class are invited to choose the best airlines in several categories. This award is based on the results of the survey conducted from 13 December 2023 to 31 August 2024. The winners were officially announced in the December issue of Global Traveler magazine, and the awards ceremony took place in the exclusive setting of the L'Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills.
